The name says it all, really. Stand Alone is the passion project of 2nd generation winemaker, Xander Grier of Stellenbosch’s Villiera. He’s taking the reins and doing his own thing with grapes he loves while holding true to Villiera’s deep commitment to sustainability.

This is the oldest Gamay vineyard in South Africa, planted in 1981! Not really a grape you see much on its own in the region, we’re over the moon to see it, well, standing alone here.
