Khayelitsha’s Finest Wines is the bold vision of Lindile Ndzaba, who first got curious about wine while working at a hipster beer bar in Cape Town—where our very own Leigh-Ann also learned to love wine. Lindile started out washing dishes, then polishing glasses, then asking all the right questions. That curiosity led him into the cellar, where he learned the ropes hands-on and began dreaming bigger.

In 2018, he launched Khayelitsha’s Finest Wines to bring premium South African wine into townships and communities that had long been excluded from wine culture. He’s since partnered with a Western Cape winery to create two blended wines made to be enjoyed—no gatekeeping, no snobbery, just good juice and good vibes.

Rooted in Khayelitsha, one of South Africa’s largest townships, the brand is a celebration of hustle, heritage, and hope. It’s flipping the script on who gets to drink—and make—great wine.
