Farming Practices: Organic and Biodynamic Practising

Ottomani is a four-friend project - eight hands, one shared dream - rooted in the hills of Chianti Colli Fiorentini. Enrico Giovannini, Cosimo Pecorini, Leonardo Bonelli, and Andrea Malavoti studied viticulture together, then took time to explore different paths before reuniting to buy a farm with a vineyard block co-planted with ancient Tuscan grapes.

They farm organically and biodynamically (without the witchy stuff), working hard to propagate those rare varieties into new blocks. Some go into blends, others shine solo in tiny single-varietal bottlings. Sangiovese leads the lineup, but Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo, and other native grapes add texture and soul.

Winemaking is minimal: native yeasts, old oak, concrete, and a hands-off approach. The wines are vibrant, expressive, and full of Tuscan character—Chianti with a pulse and a purpose.

Take a sip home with you!
