Farming Practices: Sustainable
Jolette Steyn’s The Vineyard Party is a celebration of the unexpected. After years of winemaking across continents, she launched her own label in 2018—small-batch, low-intervention Sémillon that’s as thoughtful as it is playful. The name hints at movement, music, and mischief, and the wines follow suit: elegant, fresh, and open to interpretation. Her parcels are farmed with biodiversity and sustainability in mind, and the cellar is a space for curiosity, not control.
Each bottle carries a line from Tombstone, Val Kilmer’s Doc Holliday delivering swagger and soul—just like Jolette’s wines. The labels, designed by a Spanish artist, are vibrant and surreal, inviting you to look twice. The Vineyard Party isn’t just a name—it’s a mood, a manifesto, and a reminder that wine should be fun, honest, and a little bit wild.
