ABOUT ALI IN WONDERFULAND

Alice Verburg, the middle child to Niels and Penny (who we know from the Saboteur White & Red) works with dad in the cellar at Luddite, adding a bit of fun & femininity to their wines. The culinary school grad, who has a couple of international harvests under her belt already, makes only a barrel or two of her own wine every year that typically sells out at the speed of light – before she can even set any aside for herself!

OUR FAVE THING ABOUT THIS WINE
Ali picked the Cinsault (the first batch to be made in the Luddite cellar!) earlier than expected due to unpredictable weather; so she pressed the juice for 1 barrel (of the 2 produced) on Shiraz skins to add body & colour! That Verburg creativity at play!
