Bondar Wines is the story of Andre Bondar and Selina Kelly trading city careers for vineyard life in McLaren Vale. Andre had spent years making wine in the Barossa and Rhône before deciding to start something of his own, while Selina began her professional life as a lawyer before shifting into wine marketing. In 2012, they took over a historic vineyard with gnarly old vines and sandy soils, and began building a life - and a label - focused on elegance, energy, and authenticity.

Their approach to farming is grounded in sustainability and care for the land. They’ve moved away from synthetic inputs, embraced organic principles, and prioritized soil health and biodiversity. Living on-site with their young family, Andre and Selina are deeply connected to the rhythms of the vineyard—it’s not just where they work, it’s where they live, grow, and dream.
